Who We AreBiblical Basis

When you think of a church consulting service, you may think that it would be an insult to you and your church's leadership to even think that someone from outside your church could offer you any suggestions that you have not already thought of yourself. You may even think that the whole idea of an outside consultant is unspiritual or unbiblical!

Yet consider the following:

Moses
Moses really believed that he was doing what God wanted him to do. It may have never occurred to him that there might be another, better way to serve and lead until his father-in-law Jethro stepped in with some wise advice (see Ex.18:13-27).

King Rehoboam
King Rehoboam called in some outside consultants too. They were wise, experienced men who had worked with his father Solomon, but they were not a part of his government. Unfortunately, he did not heed their advice, to the detriment of the whole nation (see I Kings 12:6-15).

Paul
In the New Testament we find Paul, who, after having started several churches, and no longer a member of those local churches, was still able to offer good instruction, advice, exhortation, and encouragement to them and their leaders.

Titus
Paul also sent and coached a consulting team led by Titus who assisted the newly forming churches on the island of Crete.
